Glenda Smith passed away on her 82nd Birthday, Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House. Visitation will be held at 10 am Monday July 22, 2024, at Brosh Chapel and the Avacentre in Cedar Rapids. Celebration of Life will begin at 11 am Monday July 22, 2024, at Brosh Chapel and the Avacentre in Cedar Rapids. Burial will be held at Baker Cemetery.

Glenda was born July 16, 1942, in Kearney, Nebraska the daughter of Glen and Violet Kroeger. Glenda was united in marriage to Darold Smith on October 26, 1970, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Glenda was a hard-core Nebraska football fan and Iowa fan loved sports, she also Loved cooking and gambling,

Glenda is survived by her son Craig Smith; step-daughter Sharon (Richard) Mullin; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nephews; and Friend Sue Fye Williams.

Glenda is preceded in death by her parents; husband Darold Smith; brother Rex Kroeger; sister- in-law Jean Mulvany; Sister-in-law Dode Smith, and Brother-in-law David Smith.
