Glen Alen Redmond, 60 of 326 24 ^th Street NW, died Saturday, December 3, 2005 at Mercy Medical Center from a sudden illness.  Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 6 ^th at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids with Rev. William Harnish presiding.  Burial will follow in Cedar Memorial Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids and for an hour prior to services Tuesday at the chapel.

Glen was born August 11, 1945 in Cedar Rapids, the son of Dean and Helen Downey Redmond.  He married Connie Klouda September 19, 1987 in Cedar Rapids.  Glen worked for over 40 years in the Cedar Rapids area as a carpet installer and floor covering specialist.  He enjoyed fishing, golfing, being outdoors and playing cards.  He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Glen is survived by his wife Connie; son Steven of Cedar Rapids; daughter Traci (John) Munier of Springville; grandchildren Riley, Kennedy, and Kelsey; brother Dean (Jackie) Redmond; sister Cindy (Bill) Langton all of Cedar Rapids, also many nieces, nephews and friends.

Glen is preceded in death by his parents, Dean and Helen.
