Gerald “Jerry” Ambrose McCoy, 82, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 13, 2026, at St. Ludmila Catholic Church. Burial will be held at Linwood Cemetery in Cedar Rapids. Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre are assisting the family at this time.
