Gerald Francis Ellis, 67 of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, September 3, 2007 at Crestview Acres after a lengthy illness. Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 7, 2007 at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids.
Gerald was born December 30, 1939, on the farm near Ryan, the son of Charles and Hazel Mae (Rainbird) Ellis.
Gerald is survived by his daughter Teresa (Jeff) Stone of Marion; step-daughters Tina Allsup of Springville, and Tammi Levsen of Davenport; step-son Dennis Chamberlain of Hiawatha; eleven grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren; and a brother William "Bill" Ellis of Cedar Rapids.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers Charles Jr., Richard, Leo, Raymond, and Donald "Buck", and a sister Violet.
A memorial fund has been established in his name.
