Evelyn Ann Maciejewsky, 85 of Escondido, California, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, September 20 in Escondido from a lengthy illness.  Private family visitation and burial will be at a later date.  Burial will be in Czech National Cemetery in Cedar Rapids.  Brosh Chapel ~ Cedar Rapids is in charge of arrangements.

Evelyn was born October 28, 1922 in Cedar Rapids the daughter of Joseph and Bessie Cermak Hruska.  She married Adolph "Rudy" Maciejewsky.  They lived in Cedar Rapids for many years until they moved to California in 1958.

Evelyn is survived by a brother Robert and Mary Jeanne Hruska of Cedar Rapids, and a sister in law Mary Hruska of Cedar Rapids, as well as several nieces and nephews.     Preceding her in death were parents, her husband Rudy, who died December 21, 2002, and a brother Edward J. Hruska.
