Eva A. Holub, 92, of Swisher, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at her daughter's home. Private family services will take place at Hala Cemetery in rural Swisher. Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids is caring for Eva and her family.

Eva Agnes was born February 11, 1925 rural Walford, the daughter of William and Agnes (Roshek) Becicka. She married Robert Holub on November 18, 1952 in Walford. She worked as a bookkeeper. She enjoyed spending time with her family and pets, shopping, and frequenting the Amana Colonies.

Eva is survived by her brother Robert Becicka; her children Dan (Theresa) Holub and Judy (Mike) Bibeau;  her grandchildren Jason (Shakiba) Bibeau; Joshua (Andrea) Bibeau and Kellie Holub; as well as her three great-grandchildren Morgan Saba, Logan Bibeau, and Alivia Bibeau.

Eva was preceded in death by her parents William and Agnes Becicka and her husband Robert Holub.

No visitation or service will be held. Memorials may be directed to either Mercy Hospital Hospice Care or The American Alzheimer's Association in her name.
