Emma Stefl, 88, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, September 26, at the Grundy Care Center in Grundy Center.   Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 30 at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, with Rev. Blair Frank officiating.  Burial will follow in Czech National Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm on Thursday at Brosh Chapel, Cedar Rapids.

Emma was born April 15, 1917 in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of John Pesina and Emma Zadina.  She married Milton Frank Stefl August 31, 1940 in Cedar Rapids. Emma was a homemaker, caring for her home and family.  She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and CSA Lodge.

Emma is survived by a daughter Carolyn Wilson of Hopkinton; two sons John (Marlys) Stefl of Runnells, and David (Julie) Stefl of Grundy Center; nine grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Milton, who died October 29, 2003.

A memorial fund has been established.
