Elsie (Buckmayer) Westwood, 92 of Las Vegas , Nevada , formerly of Solon, died December 24, 2009 . Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday, January 15, 2010 at Oakland Cemetery , Solon. Brosh Chapel in Solon is in charge of arrangements.

Elsie was born July 30, 1916 , the daughter of James and Annie (Zeman) Buckmayer. Elsie graduated from Marquette University in Milwaulkee , Wisconsin in June 1949 with a bachelor's degree in nursing education. She worked as a nurse and went on to become an anesthesiologist. Elsie married Claude Westwood in Los Angeles , California .

Elsie is survived by many nieces and nephews.
