Ellen Kay Hall Harrington, 49 died Saturday, June 14, 2008 in her home from a brief illness.  A Celebration of Ellen's life will be 5 p.m. Thursday, July 3, 2008 at her sister's (Sue Fults) home: 5439 J Street SW, Cedar Rapids. Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids is in charge of arrangements.

Ellen was born March 10, 1959, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Maynard and Teresa Barker Hall.  She liked spending time with her family and friends.  She will be remembered for her big heart.  Among the things she enjoyed were the Green Bay Packers, crocheting, cooking and playing cards, planting flowers, bingo, and Dale Earnhardt.

Ellen is survived by her mother,  Teresa "Pat" Hall of Mission, Texas, a sister Christle (Larry) Wicks of Cedar Rapids, brother Roger (Tammy) Hall of Columbus Junction, Iowa, and Sue (Bob) Fults of Cedar Rapids, nieces and nephews and her special companion Bob Wharton of Cedar Rapids, and also "her boys" Mike, Brad and Danny Burhite.

Ellen is preceded in death by her father, Maynard, and two brothers Lee and
Scott Hall; grandparents James and Agnes Hall and John and Ruth Barker.
