Elizabeth F. Peterson, 67, of Keswick, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at the Keokuk County Health Center.  Celebration of Life services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 25, 2021, at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW.  Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. Sunday, October 24, 2021, at Brosh Chapel.

Elizabeth was born December 18, 1953, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Norma Jean Morgan.  She graduated from Cedar Rapids Kennedy High School.  Liz worked for over 20 years at Options of Linn County, until her retirement. Liz was also proud to play bocce ball in the Special Olympics held in Des Moines.  She had an infectious smile, and loved to meet new friends and people, wherever she went.

Liz is survived by her cousins Beatrice Mango of What Cheer and children Laura (Larry) Geesaman and Michael Stoner, Robert Fite Sr. of Des Moines and children Robert Fite Jr., Jessica Fite, and Rachel Roldan Fite, and Lee (Kim) Fite of Oskaloosa and children Brooke (Ben) Six and Brad (Kari)Fite.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her adopted father Tex Peterson.
