Elaine Vozenilek, 89, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday November 1, 2013 at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday November 5, 2013 at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW, where a visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery. Elaine was born June 3, 1924 in Cedar Rapids. She married George Vozenilek on March 15, 1955 in Cedar Rapids. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, baking, fishing, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. Elaine worked many years at Konecny Restaurant. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Elaine is survived by her children; John (Anna) Lentner and Barbara Lentner, grandchildren; Tony, Renny, Paula, and Cassy (Corey) Plough, great-grandchildren; Jared, Tiffany, and Cameron, siblings; Shirley Pernicka and Sid Batten, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband George, Aunt Leafy and two sisters; Marilyn and Jean Pospisil. Memorials may be directed to the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House.
