Eileen Aossey passed away peacefully surrounded by her four children on January 21, 2023. She was born on January 3, 1931, in Sioux City, Iowa. She met the love of her life, David, before he served in the Korean War, and they wrote to each other during his entire service. Eileen was a devoted wife and mother who loved her family.  She always opened their home to family and friends who felt welcomed and loved. Along with raising her four children, Eileen worked at Rockwell Collins for more than 40 years. She loved her time working at Rockwell Collins and developed many friends.

Eileen was known by her family and friends to be kind and loving, often described as a second mother. She was generous and instilled in her children the importance of helping others. Over the years, Eileen applied her compassion and strong skills to volunteering with International Medical Corps.
