Edwin Dale Wisnousky Jr, 74, of Swisher, passed away November 22, 2011 at the Solon Nursing Care Center of Congestive Heart Failure. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday November 26, 2011 at Brosh Chapel, 2121 Bowling St. SW, Cedar Rapids. Burial will follow at Dupont Cemetery, rural Swisher. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the Brosh Chapel. Edwin was born on June 8, 1937 in Rock Island, Illinois to Edwin Sr. and Leona (Kuderna) Wisnousky. He graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1955 and Coe College in 1959 with at B.A. Ed loved statistics, gardening, Johnson County Fair and 4-H Club Activities. Edwin is survived by his brothers; Joseph C. (Donna) and Jerome all of Swisher, a sister-in-law Carol Wisnousky of West Des Moines, his children; Kathy, Ann, Edwin and Fred. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Thomas. Memorials may be directed to the family.
