Eddie Lee Smith Jr., 49 of 394 17 ^th Street SE , Apt. B, died Monday, February 22 at Crestview Acres in Marion . Home Going Celebration will be 12 p.m. on Friday, March 5 ^th at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids , located at 2121 Bowling Street SW with Pastor Cymaron Dawson presiding. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery . Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at Brosh Chapel.

Eddie was born August 20, 1960.

Eddie was survived by his mother Mrs. Josie V. Williams- Davis and a stepfather Mr. Mack Davis Sr. of Cedar Rapids . His father Mr. Eddie Lee Smith Sr. of Memphis , Tn. A daughter Dorensia Cole of Wisconsin and a stepson Geogory Brown of Cedar Rapids .  His four sisters, Sylvia Williams and Yolanda Ivory of Cedar Rapids , Pamela Williams-Smith and Patrina Smith of Nesbitt , Mississippi . Two brothers Robert Ivory and Mack Davis Jr. of Memphis Tennessee . A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Eddie was preceded in death by his grandmother Mrs. Bretha L. Robinson- Slayton and his grandfather Mr. Joe L. Parker of Memphis , Tennessee .

A memorial fund has been established in Eddie's name at Collins Community Credit Union.
