Doris Ann Klinsky, 82 of Cedar Rapid, died Monday, February 2, 2009 at Northbrook Manor Care Center after a lengthy illness. Services will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, February 7, 2009 at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, temporarily located at 3100 F Avenue NW, with Rev. William W. Bramwell Harnish presiding. Burial will follow in Czech National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids.
Doris was born August 24, 1926 in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Chauncey and Margaret (Macha) Zadovsky. She married Robert E. Klinsky on October 3, 1950.
Doris is survived by her sons, Robert J. Klinsky, and David A. Klinsky; grandchildren, Claire and Whitney Thorpe-Klinsky; and her sister, Marlyn Thorington.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert E. Klinsky; and her sister, Barbara Grow.
Memorials will be directed to the American Diabetes Association.
