Donald F. Urbanek, 71, of Rural Blue River, Wisconsin, formerly of Solon, passed away Saturday, November 10, 2007 at his home following a courageous battle with cancer. A Prayer Service will be 1 p.m. Friday, November 16, 2007 at Brosh Chapel in Solon with Pastor Scott Meador presiding. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 11 a.m. until prayer service at Brosh Chapel in Solon.
Donald was born on November 17, 1935 in Solon, the son of Frank and Helen(Hunter) Urbanek. Donald was a beef and horse rancher all of his life.
Donald is survived by his wife Marian Urbanek of Blue River; two sons C.J.(Sarah) Urbanek of Wynnewood, Oklahoma and Mike(Martha) Urbanek of Blue River, his grandchildren: Calvin Tyler Urbanek, Tracie Aker, Ashley Urbanek, and Jack Urbanek; two great grandchildren: Elizabeth and Cole; and a sister Trula(James) McDonald.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Bob, a sister Elizabeth, a son Milton and a daughter Dawn.
A Prayer Service will be held Thursday, November 15, 2007 at 7:00 PM at Beeman-Patchak Funeral Home in Boscobel, Wisconsin with Pastor Stan Pegram officiating.
