Donald Edward Marshall, 58, of Solon, died Wednesday, October, 18, 2006 after a sudden illness.  Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 23, 2006 at Brosh Chapel in Solon.  Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Brosh Chapel in Solon.

Donald was born June 12, 1948 in Bessemer, Alabama the son of Charles E. and Nell Pitts Marshall.  He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.  He married Jo A. Krotz on June 28, 1975 in Solon.  Don loved driving a truck, fishing, spending time with his grandkids, working in the yard and spending time with his family.  He was an avid Nascar fan.

Don is survived by his wife Jo of Solon; daughters Toni (Steve) Soltys of Bayville, New Jersey, Amy (Tony) Wilcox and Angie (Josh) Serovy all of North Liberty; a son Scott E. (Sandra) Marshall of North Brunswick, New Jersey; grandchildren Matthew, Haley, Hailey, Kevin, Drew, Madison, and Mallory; his mother and stepfather Nell and Walter Runk of Willow Hill, Pennsylvania; stepmother Marjorie Marshall of Rahway, New Jersey; a sister Sheila Hurley of Keansburg, New Jersey; and a brother Louie (Barbara) Marshall of Rahway, New Jersey.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, his father and a brother in law Joey Hurley.
