Donald H. Junge, 88, of Cedar Rapids , died Sunday, July 24, 2005 at his home.

No services are planned. Donald donated his body to the University of Iowa Department of Anatomy. Services are with Brosh Chapel, Cedar Rapids .

Donald was born on September 23, 1916 in Blairstown, the son of Henry and Rose (Emmel) Junge. He served as a sergeant in the US Army during WWII. Donald worked for National Oats for 20 years, retiring in 1978.

Survivors include his daughter Joan Myles of Las Vegas , Nevada ; granddaughter Inyka Junge of Las Vegas , Nevada ; a sister Frances Eichmeyer of Cedar Rapids ; and a brother Delbert (Lucille) Junge of Keystone.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a grandson Austin.
