Dolores Ione Truhlar, 92, of Cedar Rapids, died peacefully Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy.  As per Dolores' wishes there will be private family services at a later date.  Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids is handling arrangements. Dolores was born April 1, 1923 on the family farm near Mechanicsville, the daughter of Louis and Bertha (Hudson) Unruh.   Dolores was united in marriage to Leo Truhlar on September 22, 1945, in Cedar Rapids.  She loved dancing, flowers, bowling and an occasional trip to the casino.   Dolores was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed. Dolores is survived by her husband of over 70 years, Leo; children Barbara Morse and Terry Truhlar; three grandchildren Jason (Lisa) Morse, Tammy (Joe) Truhlar McGauthiar and Tony Truhlar; five great-grandchildren Ethan, Nolan and Dalton McGauthiar, Robbie and Rachel Morse; her sister Joyce Miller; as well as her many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her eleven siblings. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Mercy in her name.
