Diane Joy David, 70, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, April 15, 2013 at her home. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 19th at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, located at 3650 Cottage Grove Avenue SE, with Fr. Fred Shaheen presiding. Burial will follow in St. George Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. Thursday, at the church, where there will be a 7 p.m. Trisagion. Diane was born December 22, 1942 in Marshalltown, the daughter of Donald and Marcia (Lura) Bryant. She married Carl David on December 2, 1974. Diane is survived by her husband, Carl; sons Jerry D. (Regina) Meyer of Cedar Rapids and James D. (Dawn) Meyer of Arlington, Massachussetts; daughters Michelle David of Denton, Texas, Daneen (Terry) Riley of Grapevine, Texas, Christine Hausman of Columbia, Missouri and Amy Jo (Michael) Cable of Austin, Texas; eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and a brother Donald D. (Lynne) Bryant Jr. of Westminster, California. She was preceded in death by father and mother Donald and Marcia Bryant; and a daughter Jeanette R. Meyer. Memorials may be directed to the family.
