Diana Gail Caraway, 71, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on April 15, 2025, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Hiawatha. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at Mt. Vernon Cemetery.  Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids is assisting the family at this time.

Diana was born on August 3, 1953, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Harlan Odell and Mary Edith (Keller) Fortner.  She graduated from Cedar Rapids Washington High School.  Diana worked for many years Iowa Manufacturing/CR Inc.  Diana was later united in marriage to Robert "Bob" E. Caraway on March 17, 2016, in Cedar Rapids. She enjoyed working in the yard, tending to the birds, and most of all spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren.

Diana is survived by her children Colena Shuttleworth and Crystal Batey; grandchildren Audrey Beshears, Rebecca Shuttleworth, Karissa Shuttleworth, Tyler Shuttleworth, and Adreonna Batey; eight great-grandchildren Victoria, MeiHauniki, Ezra, Enzo, MeiHauzikwe, Brooklyn, LilliAnn, Ja'Quawn.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Robert "Bob" Caraway.
