Darrell W. Netolicky, 72, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, December 5, 2014 in his home. As per Darrell's wishes, private family services will be held at a later date. Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids is assisting the family. Darrell was born October 6, 1942 in Cedar Rapids the son of Elmer W. and Leona G. (Kadlec) Netolicky. He served in the United States Marine Corp during Vietnam and the Cuban Missile Crisis. Darrell was united in marriage to Joyce Bailey on September 2, 1967. He worked for over twenty five years as a tool and dye maker for Goss Manufacturing, retiring in 2001. He was a member of FOE 2272 and the Oxford American Legion. Darrell is survived by his wife Joyce; children Gina (Steve) Henkelman of Oxford and Trent Netolicky of Cedar Rapids; three grandchildren Lisa Cole, Cris Bulten and Tonya Bulten; two great-grandchildren Averi and Chase; a brother Arlo (Joyce) Netolicky of Cedar Rapids; a sister Diane (Arlon) Lindhorst of Palo and a brother-in-law Alma Burton of Afton, Wyoming. Preceding him in death were his parents, a brother Warren Netolicky, and his sister Roxene Burton. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Mercy.
