Dallas Myron Cooling, 71, died Thursday, April 18, 2013 at his home. A Celebration of Dallas's life will be held from 4-7 pm Monday April 22, 2013 at the Solon American Legion. Private family burial will be at Oakland Cemetery -Solon. Dallas was born November 7, 1941 in, Clemons, Iowa to Eldon and Julia (Borton) Cooling. He married Mary Carolyn Koss on June 20, 1959. He is survived by his children, Randy (Laura), Rhonda (David) Murphy, Richard, Ron, Ray (Connie) and Ross, 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, siblings; Vernon (Ruth), Garol (Ruth), Duane (Debbie), Gary (LuAnn), Lloyd (Lois), Dale, Lyle (Joyce), Margaret (Dick) Hajek. Dallas was preceded in death by his parents, wife Mary, a sister LaVonne Walters, two brothers; Darol and Art Cooling and a daughter-in-law Teresa Cooling.
