Corriene “Connie” Keith, of Solon, 84, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, surrounded by her family at the Solon Care Center. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at the Solon United Methodist Church. Celebration of Life will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at Solon United Methodist Church. Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre are assisting the family at this time.

Connie was born on February 13, 1942, in Nichols, the daughter of Clifford and Alberta (Hintz) Perkins. She graduated from West Branch High School, class of 1960. Connie was united in marriage to Marshall “Buck” Keith, on October 7, 1961, in West Branch at the United Methodist Church. She worked a various secretarial jobs at WMT, Solon Vet Clinic, and many years working with her husband Buck at Tri-States Mill and Elevator. Connie enjoyed baking, cooking, gardening, tending to her flowers, sewing, embroidery, cross-stitch, watching the Hawkeyes, boating on the Coralville Lake, and most of all spending time with her family especially the grandchildren. Christmas was a very important time to celebrate the season by decorating her home, sharing her baked goods with family and neighbors. She was an active member of the Solon United Methodist, welcoming newcomers, teaching Bible and Sunday school for many years.

Connie is survived by her children Kirk (Nancy) Keith of Onslow, Kelley (Mike) McLaughlin of Coralville and Lance Keith (Sheila Wubbens) of Montezuma; her grandchildren Adam (Amy) Keith, Molly (Jacob) Werner, Matthew McLaughlin, Ryan McLaughlin, Haley McLaughlin, Marshall (Ashley) Keith, Jarod Keith and Grace Keith; six great-grandchildren; sister Bev (Bill) Madden; brothers-in-law Bob (Pam) Keith and Jim (Elaine)Keith; sister-in-law Kathy (Ellis) Smith; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of sixty-one years, Marshall “Buck” Keith, her brother Bob Perkins; sister Janet Cunningham, sister-in-law Bonnie (Jim) Washburn, brother-in-law Bill Warren, and nephew Mark Cunningham.

Memorials may be directed to the Moments Hospice and or the Solon Fire Department.
