Clifford John Kramer, 79, passed away suddenly, on November 21, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with burial to follow in Oakland Cemetery. Full military rites will be conducted by the Solon American Legion. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Brosh Chapel in Solon, located at 100 South Cedar Street. Clifford was born April 23, 1935 in Worthington, the son of Clarence and Kathryn (McDonald) Kramer. He graduated from Manchester High School in 1953. Cliff served in the United States Army from 1954-1956 in Germany. He was united in marriage to Evelyn Seery on September 14, 1957 in New Hampton. Cliff is survived by his wife, Evelyn; children Colleen (Brian) Krei of Iowa City, Kathy (Tom) Donohue of Oskaloosa, Pam (Randy) Landgrebe of Solon, Gail (Tim) Reynolds of Iowa City, Gary (Julie) Kramer and Jerry (Lisa) Kramer both of Solon; grandchildren Katie and Kelly Krei, Lt. Bryan Donohue, Andy (Sgt. Stephanie) Landgrebe, Jillian and Joel Reynolds, Mike (Jamie) Heiberger, Kerby (Jordan) Hill, and Kendra Kramer, Lindsey, Karly, and Hannah Kramer; great-grandchildren Garrett Heiberger and Kevin Landgrebe; one sister Kay (Richard) Duggan of Chesterfield, Missouri. Cliff was preceded in death by his parents, infant twin sisters, and his brother Merlin Kramer. Memorials may be directed to the family.
