Clarence William "Slug" Zenisek, 87 of Solon, died Thursday, February 3, 2011 at the Solon Nursing Care Center . Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 7, 2011 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Solon. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Solon. Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday at Brosh Chapel, Solon with a parish vigil service at 4 p.m.

Slug was born February 20, 1923 in rural Johnson County , the son of Joseph & Agnes (Cole) Zenisek. He graduated from Solon High School and farmed on the family farm his entire life.

Slug is survived by his sister Eleanor Secrest and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four siblings; Raymond, Stanley, Loretta Zenisek and Florence Hoke.
