Christopher Michael Toomer, 46, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023.  Celebration of life gathering will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 21, 2023, at Noelridge Park ITC Pavilion. Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids is in charge of arrangements.

Chris was born September 5, 1976, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Robert and Wilma (Lewis) Toomer.  He earned his GED and Diesel Engineering Degree from Kirkwood College.  Chris enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on cars, helping friends and family, and most of all spending time with his family.

Chris is survived by his children Tearannie Fagen, Brandon (Vanessa) Toomer, Paige Toomer, Riley (Scott) Johnson, Aidan Toomer and Michaela Blad; his grandchildren Klaire, Jaimie, Lincoln, Huxley, Charlee, Daniel, Phoenix, Leon, Jupiter; his parents Robert and Wilma Toomer; his brother Jonathan Toomer; his nephew Seth Toomer; and his niece Jade Toomer.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
