Christine Wodstrchill, 57, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on May 11, 2023, in her home. As per the family's wishes, private Celebration of Life services will be held. Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids is in charge of arrangements.
Christine was born November 20, 1965, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of LaVerne and Mildred (Yuska) Wright. She graduated from LaSalle High School. Christine was united in marriage to Thomas Wodstrchill on September 30, 1995. She enjoyed doing various arts and crafts, painting, rock collecting and has always loved photography. She loved her children and grandchildren and was very excited for her newest grandson to be born in September.
Christine is survived by her husband Thomas; children Kara Granados (Wright) her husband David Bedwell and their children Lucas, Jorge, Emiliano, Neva, Reyna Granados, and Alannah Bedwell all of Texas, and Emma and Leland Bedwell of Florida. Nicole Morse and her children Alejandra, Damian, and Jaxon Jaquez all of New Mexico. Jesse Wodstrchill and his wife Krystle with their first child Bryson, a son due on September 21, 2023, all of Cedar Rapids. She also leaves behind her brother Frank Wright, his wife Barbara of Belle Plaine, their children Karen Bading, her husband JJ, Kim Schaeffer and her children Taylor Darling and Kirra Darling, her daughter Aurora Darling of Belle Plaine, Jason and wife Leah Wright of Lisbon, Christy Wright also of Belle Plaine, her children Jaden, and Amee Wright both of Cedar Rapids, and Jasmin Rodriguez and her daughter Amira Wright both of Texas. She also leaves behind a sister, Mary Wright of Cedar Rapids. Also including her best friend canine companion Carmen who she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents LaVerne and Mildred Wright both of Cedar Rapids, her first husband Ricky Allan Morse of Burlington, an Aunt Dorothy Kennedy of Dubuque, and numerous other Aunts and Uncles, family members.
The family would also like to extend gratitude to the many friends of Christine's who has helped and was there for her along the way, Kim Schaeffer, Alisha Hinkel and Julie Daugherty as well as many many others. Also Sherrie Klein and Angel Coffman who were lifelong friends became family.
Memorials may be directed to Kara or Jesse as they are handling arrangements alongside the funeral home.
