Christian "Quisey" Cungtion, 19 of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, October 29, 2015. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Gospel Tabernacle Church. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 p.m until service time at the Church. Christian was born June 16, 1996 in Cedar Rapids, the son of Christopher and Sonya (Sykes) Cungtion. He attended McKinley and Metro High School. Christian enjoyed playing basketball, video games, and most of all spending time with his family. Christian is survived by his mother Sonya Cungtion of Cedar Rapids and father Christopher (Melanie) Cungtion of Peoria, Illinois; two brothers Christopher and DeVasier Cungtion both of Cedar Rapids; three sisters Deondra Sykes and Damia Cungtion both of Cedar Rapids and Jamisia Powell of Chicago, Illinois; grandmother Bertha Sykes of Cedar Rapids; grandfather Eugene Williams of Cedar Rapids; uncles David (Karen) Sykes and David Williams both of Cedar Rapids; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins. Christian was preceded in death by his uncle Christopher Sykes, his grandfather Carroll Bridgeman and grandparents Mildred and Robert Cungtion. Memorials may be directed to the family.
