Charles "Chuck" Arthur Ross, 63 of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, October 3 at St. Lukes Hospital. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 7, at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, temporarily located at 3100 F Avenue NW.   Burial to follow in Cedar Memorial Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 6 ^th , at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids.

Chuck was born April 14, 1946 in Cedar Rapids, the son of Merle and Viola Hampton Ross.  Chuck was married to Karen Hammond on May 11, 1968 they divorced on September 23, 1984.  Chuck then married Nancy Syrovy on August 17, 1991 in Cedar Rapids.  Chuck was an over the road truck driver for many years as well as numerous odd jobs.  Chuck liked crossword puzzles, playing cards, listening to music and going fishing.

Chuck is survived by wife Nancy, a son Rod (Jamay) Ross of Haymarket, Virginia; daughters Sherry Ross of Cedar Rapids and Cherise (Jim)Yarrington of Mechanicsville; a sister Josephine Dodson of Hiawatha, grandchildren Ryan Ross and Luke Ross, three stepchildren Becky (Rick) Geerdes of Cleghorn, Kandy (Jeff) Lorimer of Cedar Rapids and David Evens of Walker; eight stepgrandchildren.

Chuck is preceded in death by his parents, a sister Darlene Polton.
