Cerenna Giffin, 55, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died August 24, 2025, in Mercy Medical Center - Cedar Rapids. Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre are assisting the family at this time.

Survivors including her sisters, Minnie Louise Wright and Ruthie Mae Griffin; brother, James Wood; special aunt, Maxine Wright Williams; nieces, Latoya (Marcquel) Gill and Ranisha Wright; nephews, Silas Griffin, Phelippe (Brittany) Wright, and Keshawn Wright; special cousins, Yolanda (Daniel) Williams and Carolyn Wright-Marietta (Scott); Cousin, Johnny (Whitney) Oliver; as well as many extended family members and great friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Griffin; father, Moses Griffin; nephew, Cordero Griffin; niece, Cherelle Griffin; aunt, Kaldonia Wright; and uncles, Henry Holmes, LeRoy Wright, Roy Custard, and Lee Wright.

Born September 16, 1969, in Greenwood, MS, to Moses and Margaret Griffin.
