Carson John Ratcliff, 1 day old son of Ray and Jennifer Salat Ratcliff, died Friday, September 22, 2006 at University Hospitals and Clinics from complications of a diaphragmatic hernia. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 27 at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids with Msgr. Karl Glovik officiating. Burial will follow in St. Johns Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids.
Carson is survived by his parents Ray and Jennifer, a sister Carly; maternal grandparents John and Cindy Salat; paternal grandparents Barb and Phil Turner; a maternal greatgrandfather John Martin; and aunts Melissa Salat and Chris Schriever.
While he was only with us a short time, Carson taught us strength, courage, and how important it is to love one another each day.
