Brenda Lynette Guyer, passed away March 1, 2016 at the age of 51 from a life-long battle with diabetes.  Celebration of Life Service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW.  Private family inurnment will be at a later date in Norway Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, March 7, 2016 at Brosh Chapel.

She was born October 13, 1964 the daughter of Robert and Ardis (Johnson) Guyer.  Growing up the youngest of four children, family vacations instilled a love of camping, fishing, pets and spending time outdoors.  She was a 1983 graduate of Jefferson High School in Cedar Rapids.  She is survived by three brothers, Roger, Bruce and Evan .

She was preceded in death by her parents.
