Brayden Lane Thomson ,23,of Cedar Rapids, joined our Heavenly Father on July 9, 2026. Brayden was born on August 21, 2002, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Rick and Tabitha Thomson. He is the middle brother to Calob (Brianna) Thomson and Silas Thomson and Uncle to nieces, Bailey, Cora, and nephew, Raegen. He will be lovingly missed by his grandparents John and Kandy Dennis along with many loving aunts. uncles, cousins, and friends.

Brayden graduated with honors and as an honoree member of the National Honor Society from Prairie High School in 2021 where he was treasured by many friends, teachers, and staff. He enjoyed participating in Special Olympics, receiving multiple ribbons and gold medals in the sport of bowling. Brayden loved his cat, car rides and road trips, being outside, watching tv, and he loved it when his dad would spin him in his chair.

Brayden is preceded in death by his cousins, Mitchell Thomson and Nick Thomson. Grandparents Francis (Scoot) and Marie Thomson. Great Grandmother June Davis and close long time family friend, Cloyd (Robbie) Robinson.

Brayden gave much joy to many people with his infectious smile and love. He will continue to spread that joy through organ and tissue donation. The family is working with the Iowa Donor Network to complete this final act of generosity.
