Casual dress only, such as jeans, t-shirt, tennis shoes and a hat if you would like. (both days) A little mud on the jeans is ok also. Another thing to wear would be camo or football jersey. Brandon was born June 16, 2000 in Cedar Rapids, the son of Sean and Tina (Hughes) Vogt. Brandon was entering 7th grade at Van Horne High School with Benton Community Schools. He was proud to be part of the Benton Bobcats football team, as a defensive lineman. Brandon was All-Boy. He loved anything that had to do with the outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting, four wheeling and going to watch his Dad race. Brandon was an all around good boy with so many dreams. He wanted to play football for Iowa, and on to the military. He was very proud of all the men and women serving our country. Brandon even was the youngest member of the Sons of the American Legion in Atkins. He played military songs on his radio to commemorate them every day. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and many friends. He enjoyed Black Friday shopping with his mom, going to work with his dad on the week ends, and having those boy moments with his friends. Very close to the top of his list, he was proud to be a Benton Bobcat, and ever so proud of his team mates! One last thing, from Sean and I to all of you parents, please, hug and kiss your kids everyday, and let them sleep on your bedroom floor if they want, go to every function you can make it to, enjoy the time you have because you never know when that time is up. Brandon is survived by his parents Sean and Tina and sister Tegan all of Watkins and sister Tarrah of Waukon; maternal grandparent Linda Barron of Cedar Rapids, paternal grandparents Barb and Carl Zahradnik of Shueyville and Ron and Sharon Vogt of Atkins; great-grandmother Jeanne Vogt of Atkins; aunts and uncles Darla (Shane) Meyer of Walford, Mark (Jennifer) Zahradnik of Luzerne, Janette (Brad) Beer of Cedar Rapids, Brian (Jennifer) Hughes of Center Point, Trisha (Lamel) Brandon of Cedar Rapids as well as his many cousins, and great aunt and uncles.
