Brad Weeks, 58, of Cedar Rapids passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at his home. Funeral Services for Brad Weeks will be held 12 p.m. Monday, November 25, 2024, at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre, located at 2121 Bowling St. SW. in Cedar Rapids. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service on Monday at Brosh Chapel. Burial will take place at Cedar Memorial Cemetery.

Brad was born September 26, 1966, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Wendell and Dolores (Conner) Weeks. He graduated from Jefferson High School, class of 1985. Upon graduating, Brad worked at Farmers State Bank while also beginning his career as a security officer. Over the years Brad was employed by Two-Star Detective, PepsiCo, Duane Arnold Energy Center, Linn County Sheriff's Reserve, Cedar Rapids Police Department's Reserve, and most recently St. Luke's Hospital. Brad also passionately served as a track official and flagman at Farley and West Liberty racetracks.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, playing and listening to country music, attending DirtTrac Late Model racing, especially the World 100, and the Knoxville Late Model Nationals.

Brad is survived by his mother Dolores of Belle Plaine; brother Rob of St. Cloud, Florida; many aunts and uncles, a nephew, a niece, cousins, girlfriend Robin Brown, lifelong friend Dion Daubenmier, and his beloved dog Macee.

Brad was preceded in death by his father, sister Teresa Weeks, infant brother Darren, and both maternal and paternal grandparents.
