Blanche L. Randall, 90 of Solon, died Friday, November 7, 2008 at the Solon Nursing Care Center.  Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 15, 2008 at Brosh Chapel, Solon, with Rev. Doug Van Der Pol presiding.  Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Brosh Chapel in Solon.  Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.

Blanche was born November 3, 1919 in rural Linn County.  She married Arnold Randall in 1939 and together they farmed until his death in 1962.

Blanche is survived by her son, Jerry (Judi) Randall of West Des Moines; eight grandchildren; nine greatgrandchildren; one sister Lula Fisher of Mechanicsville; and good friend Joann Malley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Arnold Randall, sons James and Larry, daughter Carol, two brothers Earl Siver and Everett Siver, and one sister Hazel Shebetka.
