Beverley Ann Vyrostek, 80, of Ely, died Sunday, December 11, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.  Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Solon.   Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Solon.  Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre are in charge of arrangements.

Beverley was born September 21, 1941, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Louis Ronald and Antonia (Schiberl) Yappel.  She graduated from North High School in Eastlake, Ohio and took business courses at Lakeland Community College in Willoughby, Ohio.  She started working at The National Acme Company as a secretary in the threading tools division, after ten years become the Acme-Cleveland Corp.  After twenty years, she became a realtor in Ohio, and later moved to Iowa to continue her career.  She was a realtor with Corridor Connection Realty based in Solon, until her retirement.

Beverly is survived by her husband Gordon; her sister Darlene Buehner of Mentor, Ohio; her niece Michelle Freeze and her sons Jacob and Mitch of Mentor, Ohio; and her brother-in-law Lewis H. (Dian) Vyrostek of Pierpont, Ohio; and nephews Lewis and Eric.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister in infancy, and her brother-in-law Jack Buehner.
