Betty A. Kalous, 85 of Cedar Rapids , died Sunday, November 14, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center . Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids , located at 2121 Bowling Street SW. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery . Visitation will be an hour prior to services Thursday at Brosh Chapel.

Betty was born on October 19, 1925 in rural Fairfax, the daughter of William and Georgia (Kubik) Kvetensky Sr. She married Leo Kalous on June 2, 1951 in Cedar Rapids . Betty was a member of Westminter Presbyterian Church.

Betty is survived by her brother, William (Adele) Kvetensky of Marion; nephew James "Jim" Kvetensky of Marion ; great niece Kristin; and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Westminster Presbyterian Church.
