Betty J. (Fuller) McArtor, 71 of Cedar Rapids, died peacefully in her home on Wednesday, November 8, 2017.  Celebration of life services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 17, 2017 at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW, with Reverend Phillip Fuller presiding.  Burial will follow in Cedar Memorial Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Brosh Chapel.

Betty was born December 9, 1945 in Haynesville, Louisiana, the daughter of Thurman and Inez (Allen) Fuller.  She was co-owner and operator of Ebony Beauty Supply for over 16 years.

Betty is survived by her husband Richard McArtor; her son Anthony Fuller of Kansas City, Kansas; her brothers Thurman Fuller, Phillip (Amy) Fuller Sr. and George Fuller; her sisters Millie Washington, Mary Harvey, Clara Fuller, Elizabeth Donnell, Gracie Mayweather, Louise Sawyer and Patricia (Gregory) Dockery; as well as host of nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister Claudine Fuller.
