Bernice Patricia (Herbert) Stolba, 89 of Cedar Rapids, was reunited with her husband Milo after 50 years on Friday, April 4, 2014. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 9th, 2014 at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Brosh Chapel. Bernice was born December 10, 1924 in Cedar Rapids to William and Agatha (Lynott) Herbert. She married Milo Stolba on October 31, 1945 in Cedar Rapids. She worked at Quaker Oats for 26 years before retiring in 1987. Bernice especially enjoyed spending time with her beloved family and taking care of her furry friend, Freddy. She loved sewing and taking care of her little yellow house. Bernice is survived by her furry friend Freddy, a son Daniel (Paula), grandchildren; Tim (Elizabeth) and Hannah Stolba, step-grandchildren; Joseph (Tammy) Matheny, Shawn (Sara) Matheny, Jason Matheny and Amber (Brock) Holub, great grandchildren; Dathan and Jaelynn Stolba, step great grandchildren; Allie, Emersyn, Zach, Aiden, Bella, Stephanie, Addyson, Austin, Alec and Lanie. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son Thomas, siblings; Bob, Jack, Loretta, Katherine, Eleanor, Dorothy. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew, loved and cared for her.
