Bernice A. Driscoll, 96 of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at Heritage Nursing and Rehab Center. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 11, 2008 at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids with Fr. Mark Reasoner presiding. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids.
Bernice was born January 29, 1912 in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of John and Mary (Bena) Tucker. She married Vincent Driscoll on November 21, 1931 in Cedar Rapids.
Bernice is survived by her son John Ralph Driscoll of Cedar Rapids; daughter Constance Marie (James D.) Cummins of Dallas; 17 grandchildren; 23 greatgrandchildren; and 2 greatgreatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Vincent in 1969, children: Mary Lou Claus, Patricia Sconyers, and Robert Driscoll; granddaughter Mary Kay Brandt; grandson William Claus; sisters Lillian Rayman, Estella Simitz, and Florence Fiala, and brother Robert Tucker.
