Barbara Jean Smith, 68 of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, May 8, 2014. Graveside services will be 12 noon Monday, May 12, 2014 at Cedar Memorial Cemetery. Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids is handling arrangements. Barbara was born July 5, 1945 in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Don and Wilna F. (Eden) Cain. She graduated from Prairie High School. She worked many years as a nurses aid in a few nursing homes. Barbara is survived by her 3 aunts, cousins and friends. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Norman Smith.
