Arnita A.S. Feuss, 88 of Cedar Rapids, passed away Monday, January 6, 2014 at Willow Gardens Care Center in Marion with her niece Cindy, by her side. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 10, 2014, at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW. Burial will follow in Rogers Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, January 9, at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids. Arnita was born December 10, 1925 in Toronto, Iowa, the daughter of William A. and Freida D. (Kriepke) Feuss. Arnita made her home with her niece, Cindy Maker, since 2003, until recently moving to Willow Gardens. She attended Lisbon country school, Spring Creek, and then Lisbon High School until 1943 when she moved to Ely. During her life time she worked at Royal Laundry, Clean Towel Laundry and ending with FMC. She was a member of First Lutheran Church, the Legion Auxiliary in Ely for 38 years. Arnita is survived by her a brother William Feuss of Lisbon; a sister Arlene Galloway of Marion; as well as many special nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Raymond, Henry, Verney, Elmer, Edward and twin brother Arthur, and her sister, Darlene F. Short.
