Antoine "Twan" Marcel Ray Jenkins, 46, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.  Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, August 25, 2023, at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW. Homegoing Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 26, 2023, at Word of Faith Pentecostal Church of God in Christ, located at 2325 16th Avenue SW.  Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Antoine was born February 26, 1977, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Willie and Marylin (Walker) Jenkins.  He graduated from Cedar Rapids Jefferson High School, class of 1995.  Following that he attended Grambling State University, and later graduated from Hamilton College with a degree in Criminal Justice.  Antoine was united in marriage to Melissa Dehmlow-Jenkins.  To this union they had three children Creighton, Mekhia and Melique.  He was an accomplished "BBQuist".  Twan enjoyed riding motorcycles, cooking, coaching basketball, watching the Dallas Cowboys and Chicago Bulls, and most of all spending time with his friends and family.

Twan is survived by his children Creighton Robinson, Mekhia and Melique Jenkins; his parents Willie and Marylin Jenkins; his sister CaLisha Jenkins-Paige; his nieces and nephews Ezekiel Pittmon, Bruce "Tra" Paige, Ziyonna Paige, Markesha Jenkins, and Paige Pridgeon, as well as a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents James and Vera Marsh, Jesse and Ruby Walker, his siblings Schuranda Pittmon-Gibbs and Courtney "CJ" Jenkins.
