Andrew L. Morris, 47 of Dubuque, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, January 25, 2016 in his home.  Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 30, 2016 at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids, with Fr. Phil Thompson presiding.  Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW.

Andrew was born December 2, 1968 in Cedar Rapids, the son of Lewis E. "Ed" and Shirley (Lutkenhaus) Morris.  Andrew served in the United States Navy for six years after high school in the Persian Gulf and with the Atlantic and Pacific fleets.  He was a graduate of Kirkwood Community College and Mt. Mercy College.  Andrew worked in information technology, most recently at IBM in Dubuque.

Andrew is survived by his parents of Cedar Rapids; his sister Lynann (Martin L. "Larry") Panchula of East Lake, Ohio; his nephew Justin Panchula and nieces Erin and Goddaughter Megan Panchula; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Andrew was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lloyd and Thelma Morris and Greg and Marie Lutkenhaus.
