Alex Peter Anson, 24 died Thursday, May 7, 2009.    Celebration of Life Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 12 at Brosh Chapel in Solon with Reverend Renee Lunemann presiding.  Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 3 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at Brosh Chapel in Solon, where there will be a time starting at 7:30 p.m. to share a memory of Alex's life.

Alex was born September 27, 1984 in Iowa City the son of Gary and Patricia Cumming Anson.  He graduated from Solon High School in 2003.   Following graduation he attended Kirkwood and for over the past two years worked for Centro Plastics Inc in North Liberty.   He loved sports, especially playing soccer, hunting, fishing and hanging out with his friends.

Alex is survived by his father Gary (Cheryl) Anson of Solon, mother Patty Anson (Dean Miller) of Solon; his brothers Cory (Luann) Anson of Chandler, Arizona and Aaron Anson of Solon; a stepsister Melissa (Ryan) Lux of North Liberty; paternal grandparents Gerald and Marilyn Anson of Marshalltown; maternal grandmother Mary Jane Hawk of Shenadoah; as well aunts, uncles, cousins and his friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Alex Anson Memorial Fund.
