Albert L. Otto, 91 of Cedar Rapids died Monday, January 21, 2008 at West Ridge Care Center.  A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 25, 2008 at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids.  Inurnment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Albert was born September 20, 1916 in Aurora, Nebraska, the son of Homer N. and Gail M. Junkin Otto.  Albert graduated from Aurora High School and attended Northwestern University.  He was a member of the Kiwanis Club, the Moose Lodge, the Wisconsin Association for Certified Public Accountants, and the North American Hunting Club.  Albert enjoyed planting trees on Arbor Day at local schools and loved hunting and fishing.

Albert is survived by his children: Ruth Russell of Shawano, WI, Ken (Arlene) Otto of Cedar Rapids, IA, Craig (Helen) Otto of Fairfax, VA, and Mary (Peter) Andersen of Preston, CT; and one grandchild Derik Cowan. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Glenn Otto, sister Opal Lourene Loetterle, special friend Virginia Randolph.
