Agnes C. Kloubec, 100 of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Blairstown and Van Horne, died Friday, September 5 at St. Lukes Hospital from a brief illness. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, temporarily located at 3100 F Avenue NW, with burial to follow in Ridgewood Cemetery in North Liberty. Visitation will be one hour prior to services Wednesday at Brosh Chapel, Cedar Rapids.
Agnes was born January 21, 1908 in rural North Liberty, the daughter of Joseph and Antonia Svoboda Kloubec. Agnes farmed along with her brother Anton for many years in Benton County area. She is survived by a nephew Kenny Kloubec of Cedar Rapids and a niece Virginia Stych of Clear Lake.
Agnes is preceded in death by her parents; brothers Joe, Fred, Anton; sisters Emma Krchmar, Antoniette Kloubec, and a sister Rose Kloubec.
